I joined Scope International (M) Sdn Bhd after graduated
Subsidiary of Standard Chartered
Department: Financial Market Operations (FMO)

Then, kind of busy life started as I'm a freshie
Thr're always new thgs 2 catch up with

Here comes some happening events in dis company since July:

Visited by Neil Browne, Head of FXMM Operations
and, He treated us Domino Pizza
Hmm.. heard he pay a visit 2 FMO regularly..

The RnR Pinky Night
We were all came in PINK
Durians and Satay as our main course for dinner
Yummy~

The Mid-Autumn mini celebration
Games provided and prizes given

The FMO Buka Puasa Dinner
Especially for the Malays collegues
But I get no chance for it.. sobsob**

好舍不得
三年的大学生涯
说长不长；
说短不短；
喜怒哀乐全包含~

人毕竟不能回头

These few days..
I guess the hottest topic being talked is abt the FBL FYP Presentation
Many students being "shot"
Some direct failed 4 the presentation section
Some cried on da spot
All of us sigh-ing on the strictness of moderators / coordinators

Conclusion of mine is:
Dey r pro and we r js undergraduates
However, dey tends 2 judge us using their above Dr. level
Sorry 2 say,
It's stil far 4 us 2 reac their requirements by ours std now..

No matter how, we learned
TQ...

I found out they r seriously not gentlemen & unethical
How could dey took ppl's chair w/o any permission?
How could dey remove ppl's thgs on table while d person not arnd?
How could dey sit at ppl's place like non of their business?
After all these, dey stil can show the "black" face 2 ppl instead of feeling guilty!?
WTF!!!
They gave me super bad image~

FYP Presentation

Woah~~ Finished FYP presentation dis morn.
Been suffer a night 4 the preparing as my moderator is .... .... ....
DR. RAFIQUL MOLLA!!!

He's a super duper extremely particular lecturer especially on presentation
NO read slides !
NO seeing paper / notes !
NO memorising but understand it !
NO sound effects of "erm.. ahh.. hmm..etc.."
PRECISE title must be written!
(e.g:
1. no title written, direct ban frm presenting
2. wrong title not allow - "NIE-4 Economies" instead of " NIE-4 Countries" as Hong Kong & Taiwan do not consider as a country itself.)

So, wad abt the hardcopy?
Of cos, stil the title and format is the main concern of him

So far, I thks I had 5 presentations wid him for his classes
and I did oni passed one time and dat's the last time wid his comment: "You're presented well."
Relief~
Just for a week.. Bad news came..
Who knows... The FYP moderator is still him??!!

A supervisor, A moderator, and 6 students sitting inside
for the final FYP presentation
the situation was... well, I would said it's silent enuf 2 make ppl feel scared

Started wid Y.Sze, M.Yong, P.Haan, W.Ling, then Me and Tao
During the 1st 2 presenters,
Dr. Molla questioned a lots as well as gave many comments
Making presenters pretty panic
Supervisor, Chan, is trying 2 help us
Hence, argument btw moderator(M) and supervisor(S) started

M: bla.. bla.. bla... [comment-ing and question-ing]
Students: [remain quiet, thkg hard on hw 2 answer]
M: [waiting]
S: Sir, I thk u shud not put high expectation on them, dey r stil undergraduate
M: Tht's y I'm asking. Dey going out of Uni soon, dey shud hv the ability 2 thk & figure out
S: But, dis is just a final year project, not a professional thesis
M: Yes, it is. Dis is a learning process 4 dem, since it's learning process, dey nid 2 take it serious. They nid it in future. For their own good.
S: However... [wanted 2 say more]
M: Chan, thk u n me cn discuss dis issue later. Knowing dat u r their supervisor and trying 2 help dem
S: Well.. Is ok. Pls proceed. [Not "song"]

An unexpected lecturer came into our sights
Dr. Roy Khong!!!
It's quite surprising tht he came and intai-ing us
Possibilities:
**He worried us as we r his students, he's one of the Econs lecturer**
**He wanna c how suffer we r**
**He wanna c hw Chan and Rafiqul "communicate"**
**He is the coordinator for all FYP process. He needs to follo up**

Just a while, then he left us wid a smile.
I dun even know how to describe the smile
-Kesian us- / -Laughing at us- / -Helpless smile-
Whatever it is.. I js felt tht dis is funny

On the other side, Chan and Rafiqul again had their argument..
Well, I'm not helping either one
Coz I do feel tht each of them has their own rights
Their point of view is also true to some extent
Is depend how do u thk and which perspective do u see thg

However, my presentation goes well
He din shoot me for the Q & A section
but he again, came out wid my tiny tiny errors on the thesis formatting
haihh**
Who cares upon submission?? Evryone says it.
I care coz mrks will be deducted!

The presentation section ended wid summary frm Supervisor
and advises frm Moderator
Again, we saw Dr. Roy standing outside..

We had non-verbal communication wid him such as replied him a smile
While listening to Supervisor and Moderator

Haha..

Eventhough presenting FYP is a tough
but I'm glad dat I have met dis interesting moment

Thanks lots for leaving me a sweet + funny memories..

Next, prepare for Final Exams ba~
But, wanna go YumCha b4 strt revision

Yest my hse visited by 2 unknown fellas
Saying dat they r frm dunno wad advertising company
need 2 rent my hse yard for an advertisement..

It is commercial adv 4 "TOP"
which will publish arnd July, if i not mistaken.

The whole process js needed arnd 3 hrs plus to finish
Quite efficient also
(Maybe coz the TOP boss oversee the progress on the spot.. hee..)


This "superstar" cost RM1.2k ler..
Got 2 of them but another darn active + Playful..

Decided 2 have gathering wid long lost contact co-cu members
Had porridge steamboat as dinn

KTV; Clubbing; Movie; Cafe


KTV: Not all wanna participate
Movie: No interested movie lately
Cafe: very full as js after dinn
Last choice: CLUBBING!

Jenn: Oh, I nvr been Arena b4 ... ...



Initially thr r oni 6 of us,
met another grp of frens at Arena
it became 15 ppl~
